Sleep apnea is a serious condition that affects breathing during sleep, leading to snoring, restless nights, and daytime fatigue. If left untreated, it can contribute to serious health risks such as high blood pressure, heart disease, and diabetes. Many people suffer from sleep apnea without realizing it, attributing their symptoms to poor sleep habits rather than an underlying medical issue.
At Eden Lakes Dental, we offer oral appliance therapy, a comfortable, effective solution for managing mild to moderate sleep apnea and snoring. These custom-fit devices gently reposition the jaw to keep the airway open, improving airflow and reducing symptoms. As experts in Dental Sleep Medicine, we collaborate with sleep specialists to provide a comprehensive approach to diagnosis and treatment. If you struggle with CPAP therapy or need an alternative, our team can determine if an oral appliance is right for you—helping you achieve better sleep and overall wellness.
CPAP machines are the gold standard for treating sleep apnea, especially in severe cases. They work by delivering a continuous stream of air through a mask to keep the airway open. While highly effective, CPAP therapy can be bulky, noisy, and uncomfortable, making long-term use challenging for some patients.
At Eden Lakes Dental, we offer a comfortable, travel-friendly alternative—custom oral appliances. These devices gently reposition the jaw to prevent airway collapse, reducing snoring and improving sleep without the hassle of masks, tubes, or noise.
