How Our Sleep Partnership Works
- Screening at Eden Lakes Dental – We assess your risk for sleep apnea using clinical evaluations like the Epworth Sleepiness Scale. If signs of Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) are present, we refer you to Lakeland Sleep Center for further testing.
- Comprehensive Sleep Study – Lakeland Sleep Center conducts a sleep study, either at home or in a lab, to diagnose the severity of your condition. A sleep specialist will review the results and recommend the best course of treatment.
- Personalized Treatment Options –
- Mild OSA: You may be referred back to Eden Lakes Dental for a custom oral sleep appliance.
- Moderate to Severe OSA: CPAP therapy is typically recommended, but alternative treatments, including oral devices, may be explored.
- Ongoing Care & Support – We work closely with Lakeland Sleep Center to track your progress and adjust treatment as needed. If CPAP therapy isn’t a good fit, we offer effective oral appliance solutions to help you breathe and sleep better.
